1. Agreement
These Terms of Service are an agreement between Hulin Inc. and the business or organization that accesses or uses Hulin AI. If you use the service for a dental practice or another organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization. An order form or written service agreement may add to or modify these terms for a particular customer.
2. The service
Hulin AI is business software that can answer inbound missed, after-hours, or overflow calls, collect caller-provided details and availability, and prepare summaries or follow-up items for clinic staff. Features may depend on the selected plan, configuration, telecommunications provider, and third-party services.
3. Administrative, not clinical
Hulin is not a dental or medical provider. The service does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatment, replace a licensed professional, or provide emergency services. Clinics remain responsible for patient care, clinical decisions, emergency instructions, appointment confirmation, and staff review of AI-prepared information.
4. Accounts and customer responsibilities
- Provide accurate business, routing, schedule, and clinic-policy information.
- Protect account credentials and promptly remove access for former personnel.
- Review call summaries and follow-up items before relying on them for patient-facing action.
- Provide legally required notices and obtain consent for call recording, transcription, or automated processing.
- Use the service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with applicable professional obligations.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Hulin to violate law or third-party rights, impersonate another person, transmit malicious code, interfere with the service, evade usage or access controls, reverse engineer protected portions of the service, or operate abusive, deceptive, high-risk, or unauthorized calling campaigns. We may suspend access when reasonably needed to protect callers, customers, Hulin, or the service.
6. Fees and subscriptions
Fees, included usage, overages, billing periods, and renewal terms are stated on the applicable pricing page, checkout, order form, or service agreement. Customers are responsible for applicable taxes and authorized usage under their accounts. We will provide notice before materially changing recurring subscription pricing unless a written agreement states otherwise.
7. Customer data and confidentiality
As between the parties, the customer retains its rights in information submitted to the service. The customer grants Hulin the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, and support that information. Each party will use reasonable care to protect the other party's non-public confidential information. Additional data-protection terms, including a business associate agreement where applicable, must be executed separately before regulated health information is submitted when such an agreement is legally required.
8. Third-party services
Hulin relies on third-party cloud, communications, speech, AI, authentication, and payment services. Their availability can affect Hulin. Customers are responsible for their own phone carrier, forwarding configuration, internet access, and any separate third-party accounts they control.
9. Intellectual property
Hulin and its licensors own the service, software, branding, documentation, and related intellectual property. Subject to these terms and payment of applicable fees, Hulin grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its internal business operations. Feedback may be used to improve Hulin without restriction or obligation.
10. Availability and disclaimers
We work to provide a reliable service, but calls, AI output, telecommunications, and third-party systems may be delayed, incomplete, or unavailable. Except for express commitments in a written agreement and to the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, or data. Hulin's aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid or payable by the customer for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to obligations that cannot legally be limited.
12. Termination and changes
Either party may end the service as allowed by the applicable plan or written agreement. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, nonpayment, unlawful use, or a security risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective. We may update these terms prospectively and will post the revised effective date; material changes will receive reasonable notice when required.
